There isn't a short road with cancer.

Good luck to you all. There's a fair bit of fighting ahead of you, but you can prevail with lots of love, support and a positive mindset.

What god do you thank ? The one that gave her the illness or the one that trained the operating and medical staff?

Re: Mums having a breast biopsy
I wish her the best of fortune with her treatment.

Two people have had this in my family and both thank God had the Chemo and are now free of the illness, the treatment of Breast cancer has improved a lot from what it was even 10 years ago.

I'm sure you have for various reasons yogib, but you've got to question her sanity.

Re: Mums having a breast biopsy
Good luck to your Mum.. My old dear had it about 8 years ago, ended up having to have 2 ops as they didn't get all of the tumour out the first time but luckily she's fine now- she had the op when she was 70.

Ex Mrs Yogib had it as well, it had spread so she had both breasts removed and a course of chemotherapy, she's ok now but the stupid cow still smokes.

Hope it works out well for your Mum.

Re: Mums having a breast biopsy
The key to his is whether or not the cancer has reached the lymph nodes under her arm. If not, happy days.

My mum's cancer was stopped before that, and she ended up have a single mastectomy. A work friend had a double, 8 years survivor.

Good luck.

Re: Mums having a breast biopsy
I hope the news is good but if not the treatment these days means many many people are able to fight it successfully.
